The Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government, Honourable Shehu Abdulrahman Babatunde Ladan along with Hon. Abubakar Olaitan Oladipo Danku, Councilor Ajikobi Ward joins the Government officials led by SSA on Special duty, Alhaji Razaq Jiddah and State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to inspect the site of a recent fire incident at Ile Sayi Alaparun, Alore, Ajikobi Ward, Ilorin West of Kwara State. During the visit, the Emergency donates relief materials to sympathize with the affected residents.
Also, the Chairman supports the residents with the sum of money and assures them of the council’s support in addressing the aftermath of the inferno.
The Chairman also consoles the parents of Mallam Abdulfatai Abdulrazaq, who lost his life in the incident while trying to escape. He further commends the efforts of emergency responders and community members who assisted in controlling the fire, emphasizing the need for preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
He further pledges the local government’s commitment to providing relief materials and supporting the victims in rebuilding their lives.
