Carpenter Electrocuted While Roofing New Building under High-tension in Anambra (Video)

A yet-to-be-identified carpenter has been tragically electrocuted at a construction site in Anambra State.

The incident reportedly happened on Friday at Amawbia, Awka South Local Government Area of the State, where the victim was said to be roofing a new building before the tragedy.

This was corroborated by a video from the scene of the incident currently trending on social media, showing the cọrpse of the deceased being hung down from the top of the building by some good-spirited individuals.

According to some voiceovers that accompany the video, the victim was on top, roofing the new building which is sited under the high-tension wire when one of the zinc sheets he was holding mistakenly touched the high-tension wire, and he was immediately electrocuted.

Although, the full identity of the victim remains unknown as at the time of this publication, speculations about that he was a native of Ebonyi State.
