Former Nigeria international star player, Sunday Oliseh, has intentionally singled out three Super Eagles players, while applauding their performance, following the team’s 1-0 win over Ivory Coast at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, on Thursday.
In the persons of;
Ola Aina, Frank Onyeka and Calvin Bassey.
Recall that Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong gave Jose Peseiro’s side the victory against Ivory Coast via a second-half penalty after Victor Osimhen was fouled in the box.
Oliseh in a post via his X account, wrote:
“Ola Aina! Ola Aina!! Ola Aina!!! What a vintage, Naija like, exceptional performance he put up, as Super Eagles got their groove on to down Cote D’ivoire 1-0.
“Frank Onyeka & Calvin Bassey worked herculean too! Bravo boys!!”
The AFCON clash was played at the Olympic Stadium in Ebimpé.
