The New Transition Committee Chairman Of Awka South Local Government Area, Prince Chinedu Okafor says that the council area will be positioned to key fully into Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision for a smart mega city state.
Prince Okafor stated this shortly after his confirmation by the Anambra State House of Assembly in Awka, saying that his appointment as the council chairman will see that the council shares the vision and mission of Governor Soludo in human capital development and social agenda.
He called on communities in the council areas to brace up as the they will soon brace up their status as the capital city of the state.
The Awka South Mayor commended Governor Soludo developmental strides in road infrastructure, healthcare, youth empowerment, security, agricultural revolution, commerce and industry among others and assured him that the council area will take full ownership of all projects within the area.
