Members of socio cultural group, Ulonese Umudioka Awka, have commended Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra state for his giant strides in road construction across various communities in Awka in less than two years in office
Spokesperson for the group Chief Emmanuel Obuora Nwabueze (Obuewlu) said this when they visited the Managing Director of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA) Mr. Ossy Onuko in Awka, Anambra State.
He noted that the road construction and building of the world class recreation center in Awka would change the economic fortune of the people 
Commending the Governor for infrastructural developments, Chief Nwabueze urged him to continue with the construction and dualization of key roads that would transform the fortunes of the town
Earlier, Leader of the delegation, Chief Fidelis Nwokike (Ojemba Awka) said the visit was to show solidarity with their illustrious son from Umudioka who has done well and assured him that posterity will judge him right.
Responding, the ACTDA MD Mr. Ossy Onuko thanked the group for the visit and he used the opportunity to inform them on the new smart megacity – Awka 2.0 that the administration is working on that will benefit were the economy of Awka and the entire state.
He also assured them of Gov. Soludo’s determination to make Awka a befitting capital city.
