The President General of Umuoji Community in Idemili North Local Government Unknown gunmen allegedly broke into the Area of Anambra state Chief Silas Onyima has been killed.
He was killed on Friday by some armed men who stormed his house
The community leader, popularly known as Chief Sly, was later discovered naked in a pool of blood, inside a bathtub.
Police authorities in Anambra State confirmed the incident, saying the command is working with locals to identify the killers.
State Police Command’s spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the body of the slain community leader has been recovered.
“Yes, I’m aware of the incident. The command immediately sent operatives there, and the body of the PG has been retrieved.
We are working with locals to identify the perpetrators of the act, in order to bring them to book.
