The Association of People Living with Sickle Cell Disorder ( APLSCD) has showered praises on Governor Charles Soludo, for effectively distributing palliatives to reach vulnerable groups in the State.
National Coordinator of the Association and Director, Sickle Cell Orphanage and Underprivileged Home Agulu, Mrs Aisha Edward Maduagwu, commended the APGA government at Neni, headquarters of Anaocha LGA, when she received some items from the Transition Chairman, Hon Sir Gerald Ozor.
Mrs Aisha Edward who was overjoyed at the seamless process by which the palliatives was distributed to vulnerable groups and communities under Anaocha LGA, said that APGA is living true to it’s mantra of “onye aghana nwanne ya.”
“Ever since this solution government came into place, things have taken a new turn for the best especially as it relates to good governance and accountability.”
“Our organization has never had it so good, Governor Soludo has always ensured that only capable hands are appointed into key administrative positions.”
She spoke highly of Hon Gerald Ozor, the TC of Anaocha LGA, and his sagacity in delivering quality leadership that has impacted tremendously in the life of the commoners. Describing him as a grassroot administrator with a calm and gentle demeanor.
When this reporter sought the opinion of Hon Gerald Ozor on government commitments to alleviate hardship among vulnerable groups and rural communities, the TC wasted no effort in positioning the APGA government in Anambra State as being human faced and appealing to the citizens.
“ We are committed to the welfare of the citizenry, we know what we are tasked to do to bring about a positive turnaround, we are committed to do our job diligently.”
Hon Gerald Ozor further expressed his gratitude to Governor Soludo for giving him the opportunity to serve in the capacity as TC of Anaocha LGA, noting that the position has opened up vistas of experiences and opportunities for him.
