APGA Chieftain Calls For Protection Of Public Facilities, Cautions Against Sabotage

An APGA Chieftain And Public Affairs Analyst, Chief Obi Ochije-Modilim has called on the people of The Southeast Region to keep protecting all government projects and facilities cited in their areas.



Comrade Ochije-Modilim spoke to newsmen following a video made by a social media influencer recently on the reckless stealing of the joining bolts on the second Niger bridge.

Speaking to newsmen, The Public Affairs Analyst wondered why a sane mind or group of people would go to the just completed second Niger bridge to wreak havoc on it, describing it as not just wicked but senseless and an economic sabotage to Ndigbo.

Chief Ochije-Modilim noted that the people of the southern region had clamoured for the construction of the bridge for a very long time, and now that it has been completed, some men and women of the underworld want to make the bridge malfunction.

He called on the various security agencies in the region to double their efforts in checking every activity on the bridge at night and suggested the installation of close circuit television on the bridge.

According to Chief Ochije-Modilim, who is a stakeholder in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and community leader in Awka, the bridge is the gateway between the people of the Southeast and other southern States in Nigeria and should be guarded jealously.

The Public Commentator commended governor Chukwuma Soludo for his developmental exploits in the state which he said has endeared the governor to the generality of Ndi Anambra, even as he called on the residents of the state to always protect governments projects and facilities in their localities and extolled governor Soludo for winning two influential awards recently.
