APC Faithfuls In Afamation Movement Met To Discuss Way Forward And Pledge Support For Anambra Guber Candidate,

…Assures Of Readiness To Deliver During The Election.

The All Progressives Congress APC Members under The Afamation Movement have pledged their support and solidarity to any candidate who will be vying for the gubernatorial election under the All Progressive Congress party come 2025.

The Members made of political stalwarts, staunch party loyalists, and political holders disclosed their support on Tuesday, 9th, July 2024, during an exclusive meeting held at Ekwulobia, Aguata Local government area.

In his opening remark, The Convener, Honourable Onwubiko Michael (Aka Ichie), welcomed members of the Afamation movement (named after the founder of the group Afam) for attending to the clarion call. He disclosed that its essence was to unite with like minds who are members of the All Progressives Congress party.

“Afamation movement is non-political because we have different parties but with one ideology. But we will need to start from somewhere, and that is why we convened this meeting for members of Afamation who are loyal to APC to discuss modalities for our very own good. We, the members of APC in Afamation, are here to unite ourselves and move forward for the greater benefits of the movement.

Two-time member and speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ikem Uzoezie, in his address, extolled the Afamation movement for service to humanity. “I am a member of the Afamation movement and believe in the philosophy, of making our society better than we met it, and I appreciate every one of us for living up to expectation.”

Advising party faithful, Hon. Uzoezie called on party members to be strong at heart for the task ahead. Adding that APC has come for the liberation of Ndi Anambra and will win in the forthcoming Anambra state election by the grace of God.

Current Chairman, APC for Orumba South L.G.A, and also former candidate APC Orumba South, Hon Emeka Okeke (Ide Orumba) in his part called on the party loyalists to be steadfast and make their voice heard.
“We will look out for candidates who have capacity and such candidates we will deliver. Our target is Agu Awka, so I encourage you all to make this APC wing active so that more and more responsive individuals will be accommodated. ” He therefore enjoined members of the movement to stand firm in their convictions with the party and ensure they move with one mind.

Meanwhile, some of the dignitaries present at the meeting were, Former Secretary APGA, Aguata Local government and Director General Johnbusco Onukwo Foundation, Hon Chinedu Okpala, Honourable Ebube Ezeokafor, Chairman of the APC, Ekwulobia Ward 1, former SA to Governor Willie Obiano, Honourable Azubuike Okafor, media gurus, community and women leaders from Aguata, Orumba North and South among others.
