…As State Chairman Converge In Historic Meeting With Chairman APC National Governors’ Forum Uzodimma.
In a remarkable display of political solidarity and organizational strength, the All Progressives Congress (APC) marked a watershed moment as its State Chairmen from across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory converged in Abuja for a high-stakes meeting with Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, who chairs the APC Progressive Governors’ Forum.
The landmark gathering, led by Imo State APC Chairman Dr. MacDonald Ebere, highlighted the party’s growing influence and cohesion under the current leadership. The assembly demonstrated the APC’s exceptional capacity to unite its diverse state chapters under a common vision, reinforcing its position as Nigeria’s dominant political force.
During the proceedings, Dr. Ebere lauded Governor Uzodimma’s transformative leadership and his strategic partnership with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, crediting this alliance for the party’s continued ascendancy in national politics. He particularly emphasized Uzodimma’s success in establishing the APC’s uncontested supremacy in Imo State.
The meeting gained additional significance with the presence of key party figures, including APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and several state governors. The gathering also witnessed a notable political realignment as three House of Representatives members from Enugu State, previously affiliated with the Labour Party, formally joined the APC, along with other prominent political figures from the region.
Governor Uzodimma, responding to the overwhelming show of support, reaffirmed his dedication to strengthening the party’s grassroots presence and national influence. He emphasized the APC’s commitment to maintaining its position as Nigeria’s preeminent political organization through effective governance and strategic leadership.
The convergence of these political heavyweights, including governors from Kwara, Cross River, Kogi, and Benue states, alongside federal ministers and national party executives, underscored the APC’s robust organizational structure and its capacity to attract key political figures across regional and party lines.
