Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has taken off to the United Kingdom to have some rest rest.
Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy announced this in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday.
According to him, the two-week vacation is part of the President’s yearly leave.
“He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.
“He will return to the country after the leave expires,” Onanuga said.
President Tinubu’s vacation is coming at the time the country is undergoing one of its worst moments in history, simultaneously battling many economic woes and crises, including soaring cost of fuel and food prices, high inflation, insecurity, among other challenges.
