In Nnewi today, a group of angry residents took the law into their own hands by descending on a phone thief.
According to a video obtained by Ekeanaedo News, the suspect could be seen struggling for his life while being mercilessly manhandled by the angry residents who caught him.
Speaking to Ekweanaedo journalists who arrived at the scene, a witness stated that such incidents might become more frequent due to the economic difficulties in the country.
