Hon Patrick Agha Mba, the Tirelessly Working Commissioner for Youth Development in Anambra State, has joined his counterparts from across Nigeria at the 1st National Council on Sports meeting, currently underway in Enugu, the capital of Enugu State.
The high-level meeting, themed “Sports for National Unity and Socio-Economic Growth”, is being attended by the Honorable Minister from the Federal Ministry of Sports, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Mr. Peter Mbah, as well as Youth Development Commissioners and other key stakeholders in the sports sector.
The meeting provides a platform for the participating states to share best practices, discuss challenges, and explore collaborative initiatives that can harness the unifying power of sports to benefit the youth and communities across the country.
As the Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development, Hon. Agha Mba’s presence at the National Council on Sports underscores the state government’s commitment to empowering young people and utilizing sports as a catalyst for societal progress.
This event marks a significant step towards aligning the various states’ youth development and sports strategies, as Nigeria seeks to maximize the potential of the sports sector to promote national cohesion and drive sustainable economic growth.
