Anambra State Govt Constructs First-Ever General Hospital In Enugu-Otu Community

Sharing is caring

History was made as the Enugu-Otu community in Anambra East witnessed the construction of its first-ever general hospital since the community’s establishment.

The community is 15 kilometers away from town, which made them lacked access to medical care during emergencies. This prompted the governor to initiate the construction of the general hospital.

Although the hospital was originally planned as a ground-floor structure, the design was modified to a multi-story building due to frequent flooding in the area.

To further safeguard it from future floods, the building was elevated with the support of attached pillars.

The hospital is now 90% complete.
