Anambra State House Assembly Member Representing Idemili South, Hon Barrister Ebuka Igwe Esq, alongside with Engr. Hillary Okafor(Ministry of Works) inspected Ojoto-Oba-Nnewi old and new roads, promised quick intervention from Anambra State Government.
Speaking while inspecting the site, Barrister Igwe said, Anambra State Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo has awarded alot of contracts for roads reconstruction in Anambra State, and he will surely intervene in the road.
Barrister Ebuka Igwe said that, despite the economic challenges, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has proven to be the outstanding Governor in the history of Anambra State and South East.
In his remarks, The Honourable Commissioner For Works who was represented by Engr. Hillary Okafor assured that work will commence immediately on that failed portion of the road, so as to prevent further damage. He also applauded people of Ojoto for their productiveness which has saved motorists the risks associated with erosion menace.
The Inspection exercise was attended by Hon. Obimdike Ajaegbo(Councillor Ojoto ward), Ojoto APGA Chairman, Chairman of Umuezema village, Chairman of Umuezema Youth, Former Councilors, Hon. Dozie Okafor(Chairman Contact and Mobilization), Chioma Anozie, Dubem Nnoruka, among others.
