The Anambra State Commissioner of Police CP Nnaghe Obono Itam, arrived Nnewi North Council Chambers to interface with the security operatives and stakeholders in Nnewi North ahead of the Yuletide Celebrations.
Receiving the Commissioner of Police, the Local Government Chairman Hon.Echezona Anazodo eulogized the commissioner for this wonderful visit narrating his collaborative efforts towards ensuring a water tight security in Nnewi North .In a brief response, CP Itam thanked the Mayor for the good works he is doing in Nnewi North especially in the areas of security which is the primary responsibility of every government and today i am back to Nnewi North to interface with sister security agencies in order to flush out all the remaining criminal elements within the metropolis
He equally ceased the opportunity to charge the various vigilantee groups to work hand in hand with the police in the region inorder to ensure positive results at all time.
While appreciating the CP, Hon.Anazodo assured Ndi Nnewi North that security of lives and properties is one of the major campaign promises to the people and therefore charge ndi Nnewi North to return home for their Christmas celebration as Nnewi North is a safe heaven,we have not relented in ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for our people he ended.
