Anambra State Assembly Urges Governor To Provide Incentives For Anambrarians In Social & Community Responsibilities

During a plenary session in Anambra state assembly, the speaker, Mr. Somtochukwu Udeze proposed a motion that was unanimously adopted by the lawmakers through voice votes.

The motion, sponsored by Majority Leader Mr. Ikenna Ofodeme and seconded by Mr. Anayo Okpalaeke, member of Aguata I constituency, called on Prof Chukwuma Soludo to incentivize individuals who actively participate in social and community responsibilities, encouraging them to contribute even more to their communities and the state as a whole.

Expressing gratitude towards the Majority Leader and the contributions of Ndi Anambra, the Speaker stated, “We believe that the Almighty God recognizes and rewards the good intentions of those who assist in the development and maintenance of peace in our state. In due time, this honorable House will also encourage the governor to acknowledge deserving individuals through the ‘Anambra Merit Award,’ while honoring the past heroes who paved the way for the progress we enjoy today in Anambra.”
