Anambra State Commissioner for Health; Dr. Afam Ben Obidike has reiterated the commitment of H.EvProf. Charles Soludo in providing affordable and efficient healthcare delivery across the state.
Dr. Obidike said this during a meeting with the Administrative Heads of Secondary Health Facilities and the State Hospital Board in Awka. He commended them for their commitment and zeal in managing the hospitals.
With all your effort, we have recorded a huge success since the introduction of free antenatal, delivery and free surgery in all government owned hospitals across the state. Mr. Governor objective is to ensure all our hospitals functions 24hours with health workers available attending to the need of the people.
We want to build a system where our people will be happy to access care at all times, it is our responsibility to help them. Gradually we will address all the issues raised in this meeting, essential medications must be made available in our hospitals.
All the hospitals CMD must show commitment, as well leave by example. The government is not interested in revenue generation but instead to ensure our people have access to affordable healthcare service.s
