The Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo (HLWNS) founder, Mrs. Nonye Soludo has congratulated the Idemili South Female Team for winning the Healthy Living Female Volleyball Competition. The event took place at Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka.
Mrs. Soludo expressed her gratitude to the Mayors who attended the event, saying, “Special thanks to all the Mayors present who have come to motivate and cheer up female Volleyball players from their respective local government to victory.”
She was impressed by the talent shown by the young athletes, stating, “The sheer number of talents I saw in these young girls are mind-blowing. The teamwork within them which they have bonded with is amazing.” She highlighted that promoting exercise is a key goal of the HLWNS initiative, explaining, “And this is one of the reasons for Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo because exercise is one of our cardinal pillars. We are going to harness the raw talents in these girls.”
Mrs. Soludo also encouraged support for extracurricular activities like this volleyball competition, adding, “I appreciate everyone who has come to cheer these girls up! Extracurricular activities such as this should be encouraged. Next year will be even bigger!”
This event not only showcased local sports talent but also emphasized the importance of community support in youth sports.
