Anambra Commissioner, Nwabunwanne Organizes Beach Party To Foster Unity Among Ndi Anam

In an effort, to promote community engagement and relaxation after a memorable year, the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Mr. Tony-Collins Nawbunwanne has organized the 2023 Anam beach party for the residents of the town.

The event which took place at place at Okpu Ani ASA Beach Oroma-Etiti Anam featured various activities such as water games, and competitions.

The beach event afforded an opportunity to socialize and meet new friends and families and spend time with them, as residents and visitors participated in the fun.

The commissioner stated, “I think it is important for our community to come together and enjoy some fun in the open.

“The past year has been tough, and I want to provide an opportunity for our residents to connect with one another and have some fun.”

The beach party has received positive feedback.

The commissioner hopes to make this a regular event and continue to bring the community together through fun and engaging activities.

House of Representatives member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Hon Peter Udeoga Anekwe commended such an assemblage of brothers and sisters as a bonding factor that can engender unity, peace and progress in Anam.

Hon Dr Bob-manuel Okonmah (Akalaka Anam), Hon Ike Obiesili Executive Assistant to the Governor, Mr Chukwuemeka Ike Anam, and Hon Omega Kpakpando Anam, among others attended the event which also featured live music and refreshments.
