In a bold and determined move to reshape Anambra State’s political landscape, Hon. Sir Onyebuchi Okpala, (Ike Agulu), has intensified grassroots mobilization across Anaocha Local Government Area ahead of the November 8, 2025 governorship election.
Ike Agulu, a respected political strategist and National Convener of Anambra Wind Connect movement, has been spearheading door-to-door sensitization, town hall meetings, and community engagements aimed at galvanizing massive support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its gubernatorial candidate, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma) for Nov 8 gubernatorial election. His mission is clear, mobilize the people to vote out the incumbent governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and usher in a new administration that will prioritize the welfare and economic advancement of Ndi Anambra.
Speaking during a recent community outreach in Agulu, Ike Agulu emphasized the urgent need for a leadership change in Anambra. According to him, The people are tired of failed promises and lack of progress. We need a government that listens, a government that delivers, and a government that puts the people first. That is what we’re working towards come November 8.
Backed by youths, market women, and political stakeholders, Ike Agulu’s mobilization efforts are gaining momentum, especially in Anaocha.
“He has also been involved in voter education campaigns, encouraging eligible citizens to register for PVCs and prepare to make their votes count.
“His efforts are seen as a direct challenge to Soludo’s re-election bid. While the governor continues to tout his achievements, Ike Agulu argues that much of his promises remain unfulfilled, especially in rural development, job creation, security of lives and properties and quality infrastructure.
Anambra deserves more. November 8 is our chance to take back the state, Ike Agulu stated.
