Coach of Nigeria’s Under 20 football team, the Flying Eagles, Ladan Bosso has released a 20-man list for the 13th All African Games in Accra, Ghana.
Captain Daniel Bameyi, midfielder Daniel Daga and goalkeeper Nathaniel Nwosu are some of the notable players who made the cut.
Nigeria will face Uganda, South Sudan, Senegal and Tunisia in Group B of men’s football event.
Matches in the group will take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon.
The players and their officials will depart Abuja for Accra on Tuesday.
Nigeria emerged runners-up of the men’s football event of the 12th African Games held in Rabat, Morocco in October 2019, losing to Burkina Faso in the final.
