Defending champions under -20 female football team Falconets will continue the defence of their African Games women’s title when they take on Senegal at the Cape Coast Stadium on Monday.

Nigeria defeated Morocco 2-0 in their opening fixture last Friday.

A draw from this game will be enough for the Nigerian girls to secure their passage into the semi-finals.

The encounter will start at 9pm Nigerian time.

Senegal will be playing their first game in the competition following Cameron’s withdrawal from African Games 2023.

In Group A, hosts Ghana will take on Tanzania on Tuesday, while Uganda and Ethiopia will slug it out at the Accra Sports Stadium.
