Adidas has unveiled its first Adidas Original store on African soil, choosing Nigeria’s vibrant metropolis, Lagos, as its home. This remarkable establishment, nestled within the bustling Ikeja City Mall, stands as the largest of its kind in the West African region.

Far from being a conventional retail outlet, this new space has been meticulously crafted to offer an immersive brand experience. It boasts an expertly curated array of sports and lifestyle products, encompassing footwear, apparel, and accessories tailored for men, women, and children alike. A particular highlight is the store’s showcase of highly coveted collaboration collections that have captured the imagination of fashion enthusiasts worldwide.

During the grand opening, Ijeoma Arum, CEO of BrandCo Nigeria, emphasized the store’s unique positioning: “What sets this store apart is its focus on Adidas Originals. This isn’t about performance sportswear; it’s a lifestyle line designed for those moments when you want to step out, exude style, and embody coolness.”

Arum further emphasized on the significance of the location choice: “While Adidas Originals stores are fixtures in major cities globally, this marks the brand’s debut in Africa. We’re incredibly proud that Lagos has been chosen as the launchpad for this exciting venture.”
