The acting rector, Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, Engr. Dr. Chidinma Ndukwe has thanked the governor of the state, Dr. Alex Otti for regularly releasing the institution’s monthly subvention since his assumption of office as the governor of the state.
The acting rector who was speaking at the institution’s monthly prayer meeting for the month of January, held at the school’s pavilion, also charged the staff to show more commitment to duties.
She used the opportunity to inform the staff of the decision of the management to hold compulsory general staff seminar for all categories of staff of the polytechnic coming up this month
The acting rector who informed the staff and students of the successful accreditation of the Engineering Department, expressed the hope that other departments would scale through their own accreditation coming up subsequently.
He urged the staff to be change agents in their various offices to fit into the wind of change in the state and the polytechnic in particular.
He cautioned the staff not to be a clog in the wheel of progress in the polytechnic.
