As the National Coordinator of the G37 Political Support Group, Comrade City Evans, am thrilled to celebrate a remarkable achievement by Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu. At the 36th convocation ceremony of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, she was conferred with an honorary Doctor of Management degree, a testament to her exceptional leadership and contributions to the nation.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Evans said, this prestigious honour is a fitting recognition of Senator Tinubu’s outstanding achievements in various fields, including politics, education, and social development. As a seasoned politician, she has consistently demonstrated her commitment to the welfare and prosperity of Nigerians, particularly women and children.

Throughout her illustrious career, Oluremi Tinubu has held various positions, including Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District and First Lady of Lagos State. Her dedication to public service and her passion for empowering marginalized communities have earned her numerous awards and accolades.

As a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Tinubu has been a vocal advocate for women’s rights, education, and healthcare. Her initiatives, such as the New Era Foundation, have positively impacted the lives of many Nigerians, promoting “all-round development of young ones and public awareness on environmental health and community service”.
