Gubernatorial aspirants of the All Progressives Congress APC in Anambra state have finally decided to support the candidate of the party Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu ahead of the November 8th election in the area.
Also all agrived members of the party who left the party since the last gubernatorial primary in 2022 are returning to the party in their numbers.
According to one of the aspirants and currently the Chairman of the APC Reconciliation Committee Chief John Bosco Onunkwo shortly after the stakeholders meeting of the party for Anambra Central Senatorial District, the mass return is on the account of series of meetings and consultations by the eighteen man Committee.
“I can tell you authoritatively that all our aspirants are returning to our fold now and they have resolve to collapse their structures into Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu campaign organization”
“Also there are some of our members that left the party shortly after the last primary election before this current dispensation and they have all returned to the party ”
Contouring Onunkwo observed that the development accounts for the meetings and consultations between the Committee and the agrived members.
“The National leadership of the party set up a Reconciliation Committee of eighteen members which I am the Chairman and we have visited them both in groups and individuals and it had yielded positive results as I speak to you”
“I also know that there may be one or two that have decided to join another party or are candidates of other parties but the rest are back and they have collapsed their structures into one structure and that means that we are good to go in this election”
“I must tell you that it is going to be a clean sweep in the November 8th election and it would also land slide victory for the party”
“This stakeholders meeting is just delegation and the number is like this , how about when you call the entire Anambra Central you will see that no conference center can contain them “he stated.
