It was another epoch gathering of youths from various districts in Anambra State to interact, network and discuss on “Accessing The Solution Initiatives For Youth Development” which is the theme of the conference at Assemblies of God, Anambra State District Headquarters, Court Road Awka.
The life-changing SYMON Youth Business Conference provided young people with the opportunity to learn / be guided on how to access finance for their various business/ entrepreneurial enterprises from the Solution Youth focused/friendly administration through the Anambra State Business Agency (ASBA) and how to collaborate with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to upscale their businesses.
Delivering the Keynote Address the Honorable Izuchukwu Okafor, Commissioner for Finance, and the Convener/ national leader of SYMON represented by Hon. Obinna Nwankwo SSA to the Governor and SYMON State Coordinator charged the youth to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available to us in this present solution administration. This conference is aimed at making young people fishers, not gifting them fishes or just teaching them how to fish.
The First lecture was delivered by Hon Clement Chukwuka MD/CEO Anambra State Business Agency on the Topic Accessing Finance for Youth Development/ Entrepreneurship assured the youths that Agency is ready to guide and finance small businesses of young entrepreneurs who are determined and ready for economic growth of their skills and enterprises.
The second Lecture was delivered by Rev. Chukwudi Duruofor (Imeotua) on the Topic: Effective Business Management in Challenging Times.
The Conference also witnessed the giving out of POS machines to some youths who have expressed need for it to assist their businesses.
The Conference ended on a note of appreciate from Royal Rangers Nigeria and Youth Ministry of Assemblies of God to the Solution Governor for all his good initiatives and impactful youth empowerment.
They also appreciated with a gift the Hon. Izuchukwu Okafor Commissioner for Finance and Convener/ National Leader of Solution Youth Movement of Nigeria for making this section of the youths feel and begin to experience the impact of the Solution Governor through the SYMON platform.
While delivering his goodwill message at the Conference, Surveyor Emeka obi, the State Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Anambra State Chapter encourage the youth to be intentional as regard their financial/economy progress by keying into the various pragmatic and sincere youth initiatives of Governor Soludo administration.
