Nigeria’s First Lady Performs Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hospital’s Groundbreaking In Kwara, Lauds Gov AbdulRazaq’s Developmental Strides

Recently, the Nigeria’s First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu performed the groundbreaking of the multistorey Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hospital in Kwara, named in her honour by Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON.

Rising from the ashes of the old civil service clinic in the GRA, the multistorey hospital, one of the several legacy projects of Governor AbdulRazaq, promises to offer quality healthcare services for the people of the state and beyond.

As part of the tradition to mark the beginning of constructing a state-of-the-art public hospital of its calibre, the First Lady unveiled the foundation stone of the Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hospital to the dignitaries present, including States’ First Ladies and traditional rulers.

The hospital which will be equipped with modern equipments is designed to feature numerous sections and wards, including an OBGYN emergency ward, general gynae ward, living-in ward, H.D.U, isolation ward, antenatal ward, procedure room, nurses station, MVA, NICU, SCBU, consultation room, gynae emergency, colposcopy, ANC counselling and antenatal.

Vitals, neonatal ward (outborn), sleep POD, waiting area, changing room, control room, chiller room, equipment room, courtyard garden, lab, male isolation ward, male ward, consultation room, on-call room, staff break room (nurses), staff break room (doctors), admin reception, C.N.O’s office, CMD’s office, pharmacy, and G.O.P.D, children’s G.O.P.D among others.

The First Lady, who touched down in the state’s capital, Ilorin, on Tuesday on a three-day working visit, commissioned several legacy projects of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, including two flyovers named in honour of the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR and the late General Tunde Idiagbon.

Senator Remi Tinubu, who described the treatment she received from the government and the people of the state on her three-day visit as top-notch, was taken on a tour to other iconic projects of Governor AbdulRazaq such as the Innovation Hub, Visual Arts Centre, Garment Factory and the Sugar Factory Film Studio among others. She commended developmental strides and urged Governor AbdulRazaq to continue the good work.
