The Onitsha South Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressive Grant Alliance, APGA, and Transition Committee Chairman of Onitsha South LGA, Hon. Sir Emeka Orji, Dike di Ebube, has been enjoying a momentum of support and blurb from well-meaning organizations and individuals across party lines in readiness for the forthcoming local government elections in Anambra State.
Sir Emeka, has set a foundational developmental landslide and blueprint in leadership that posterity will lay on in Onitsha South LGA, which his counterparts replicated in their various council areas.
In November 2023, Dike di Ebube received a National Award of Excellence as the best-performing local government chairman across the federation (best-performed LGA chairman in Nigeria).
The laudable excellence award was a recognition of the remarkable strides recorded in localizing good governance and outstanding leadership role in helping to build a sustainable, livable, and prosperous model council area amidst other numerous people-oriented programs and projects in Onitsha South LGA.

Hon. Orji is a silent achiever and proactive in most of his dealings, whose ambition is to lay down a systematic scheme that will transform his council area where everyone benefits, irrespective of political affiliation, religion, and gender indicant.

“In periods where there is no leadership, society stands still. Progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better”.
Onitsha South was at a standstill until a workaholic leader stepped in and changed the status quo to the modern state of affairs.
