Lagos State Honors Retirees with N3.1 Billion In Recognition Of Dedication

In a momentous event, Lagos State celebrated the 103rd Batch Retirement Bond Certificate Presentation by awarding N3.1 billion to 1,013 retirees. This generous gesture acknowledges their unwavering commitment to the development and progress of Lagos State.

During the ceremony, the Lagos State administration, led by [Name], expressed gratitude to the retirees for their outstanding contributions. The retirees, who were visibly elated, have played a pivotal role in ensuring that Lagos State remains at the forefront in various indices across Nigeria.

The N3.1 billion payment, combined with the retirees’ monthly contributions already deposited into their Retirement Savings Accounts with Pension Fund Administrators, underscores the administration’s unwavering dedication to the welfare and well-being of retirees.

Since the inception of this administration, an impressive sum of N56,551,761,900.88 has been disbursed into the Retirement Savings Accounts (RSAs) of 16,026 retirees from different sectors, including the Mainstream, Local Government, State Universal Basic Board (SUBEB), Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), and other State Government Parastatals.

Looking ahead, the administration is set to pay another N4 billion next month, solidifying Lagos State’s position as a frontrunner in pension benefits administration.

The administration expressed gratitude to the Y2024 Africa Brand Awards for recognizing their gold standard in employee welfare, further validating their commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment. Special recognition was also given to the Lagos State Pension Commission for their unwavering dedication and professionalism.
