The executive governor of Kaduna state, has inaugurated a broad-based Committitte charged with the responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of projects and funds for the Tudun Biri Community, the injured and families of the departed victims.
He declared this in a state briefing, he also revealed that the Committee is chaired by the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, H.E. (Dr.) Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe.
He further stated that the Committee has been constituted for the purpose of accountability, inclusivity and transparency.
Membership of the Committee are drawn from Representatives of Victims of the Unfortunate Tudun Biri Incident (Next of Kins of the departed and injured), Community, Religious and Political Leaders from Tudun Biri Community and Igabi Local Government, and the Kaduna State Government.
The Terms of Reference for the Committee include:
(a) To develop a database of the injured and next of kins of the victims of the unfortunate Tudun Biri military drone attack.
(b) Take inventory of all the donations made by the National Assembly members and leadership, Northern Caucus of the Senate, Northern Caucus of the House of Representatives, Southern Caucus of the House of Representatives, the Nigeria Governors Forum, Northern States Governors Forum, Corporate Organizations, other senior government officials and well meaning Nigerians.
(c) Develop a framework for disbursement of the funds and ensure prompt disbursement to actual beneficiaries
(d) Liaise with relevant Federal and State Government Agencies for the effective execution of intervention projects for the Tudun Biri Community, and;
(e) Submit monthly reports on the work of the Committee.
