Mrs. Favour Igiebor, the woman who went viral for tearing her husband’s passport, has spoken out about her actions.
She claims she was driven to desperation after years of suffering in the marriage.
In a video, she explained that she had been patient for too long and couldn’t let her sacrifices be “washed away” without a fight.
Mrs. Igiebor warned against jumping to conclusions, saying there’s more to the story than meets the eye. She hinted at a long history of family issues and feeling overwhelmed. “When it gets to your neck, you have to act,” she said.
The Nigeria Immigration Service has launched an investigation into the incident, citing a possible violation of the Immigration Act 2015. However, Mrs. Igiebor remains unapologetic, insisting that her actions speak louder than words.”
