The Chairman of Nnewi South local government, Hon. Van George Ezeogidi has advised participants of the Nnewi South Unity Cup Football Competition to shun any unsporting activities capable of breeding chaos and disrupting the competition which is billed to commence today, Saturday 10th August 2024.
The Nnewi South Unity Cup Football Competition for young people in the ten communities that constitute Nnewi South local government, geared towards promoting physical activity, unity and social cohesion, is being sponsored by the Osumenyi-born philanthropist, Mr. Kingsley Obiukwu.
The Chairman commended Mr. Kingsley Obiukwu the CEO Obiukwu Foundation for his generosity in opting to sponsor the competition.
