The vice Chancellor of Ebonyi State University, Professor Chigozie Ogbu, yesterday firmly denied recent rumors on social media of planning to sell university utility vehicles to the public
The Chancellor denied the allegations during a press conference held at the university campus, where he emphasized that the accusations were completely false and baseless.
During his speech, Professor Ogbu reiterated that he has never contemplated selling any university assets, including utility vehicles or any other property.
He expressed his commitment to upholding the integrity of the institution and ensuring that all resources are utilized responsibly for the benefit of students and staff.
The Chancellor urged the public to disregard the misinformation circulating on social media platforms and assured stakeholders that the university’s assets are being managed in accordance with established guidelines and protocols. He emphasized that the primary focus of Ebonyi State University remains on providing quality education and training to its students, as well as fostering a conducive learning environment for academic and research activities.

” I urge the public to disregard the misinformation circulating on social media platforms by the Chika Nwaba and i assured stakeholders that the university’s assets are being managed in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
