An accident which occured along Nteje-Awka-Onitsha Expressway, on Thursday has left at least one person believed to be the conductor of one of the vehicles dead
According to reports the crash occurred at about 4:30 pm and it involved the driver of a commercial Mercedes Actros truck with registration number WKR824XA.
Eyewitnesses who saw what happened said the cause of the accident was a tyre burst
According to one of them the driver lost control of the vehicle after of of his tyres burst.
The acting Sector Public Education Officer of the Anambra State command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Margaret Onabe, who confirmed the incident, said two male adults were involved in the crash.
Onabe said while one male adult sustained injury, one male adult was killed.
