The contemporary public servant is in a fix. Their settled convictions compel them to believe that a new and better society is desirable. Yet, their daily workplace choices, informed by a value system acquired over the years, end up sabotaging that aspiration.
To address this, Boqer School of Governance is championing a series of targeted values-based orientation efforts aimed at retooling Africa’s public service. The pilot phase kicked off last week in Awka. Our public service trainings go beyond the hands. The carefully curated programmes aim at both the hands and the hearts of our public servants.
