Isuofia Community in Aguata Local Government Area, has performed the official conferment of “Mmili Gulu-egu” chiftaincy title on Anambra first lady, Mrs Nonye Soludo.
The conferment, which was a major highlight of the town’s 2024 new yam festival, honours the governor’s wife’s known characters of love for humanity, humility and selflessness.
The title “Mmili Gulu-egu” was a popular alias of Mrs Soludo’s late mother, Mrs Gloria Uzoamaka Ezenwanne, a renowned educationist whose stories of discipline, kindness and heroism are still being told today’s references.
The traditional ruler of Isuofia Community, Igwe (Colonel) Christopher Muoghalu (rtd), officially confered the title on Mrs Soludo.
